Four drone classes
Until now every map flew the same quad. Now there are four, and they fly differently: each has its own weight, thrust, drag, rotation rates, inertia, size and battery. The numbers come from real quads in each class.
| Drone | Weight | Battery | Thrust to weight | Flight, min |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| WHOOP 65 | 32 g | 1S 300 mAh LiHV | 3.0 | 1-3 |
| CINE 3 | 260 g | 4S 650 mAh LiPo | 4.0 | 2-6 |
| FREESTYLE 5 | 680 g | 6S 1300 mAh LiPo | 7.0 | 1-8 |
| LONG RANGE 7 | 1050 g | 6S 4500 mAh Li-ion | 3.5 | 6-20 |
WHOOP 65
A tiny 65 mm quad in prop guards on a 1S battery. Not much thrust: it hovers at around half throttle and gets noticeably weaker as the pack drains, so plan your line ahead.
CINE 3
A 3-inch ducted cinewhoop carrying a camera. Smooth and a bit heavy, built for clean fly-throughs, not tricks.
FREESTYLE 5
A 5-inch freestyle quad on 6S. Thrust is seven times its weight: it hovers right at the bottom of the throttle, you feed throttle in short bursts, and the pack lasts a few minutes.
LONG RANGE 7
A 7-inch long-range quad on a Li-ion pack. Heavy and lazy: slow to speed up, slow to stop, but it flies for a quarter of an hour.

Also changed
- SLOW, NORMAL and FAST now change rotation rates only. FAST used to add thrust as well; thrust now comes from the drone itself.
- The battery voltage on screen matches the drone: 1S on WHOOP, 4S on CINE, 6S on FREESTYLE and LONG RANGE.
- Collision size depends on the drone: a small one fits through gaps where a big one clips its props.
- The chase camera adjusts to the size of the quad.
- Switching drones resets your best lap, since lap times across classes are not comparable.
- The privacy policy is updated: gameplay stats now include the drone class.
