Your own drone course in three minutes

fpv0 has a track builder built in, so you are not stuck with our courses. Open any of the four maps, switch the builder on and fly to the spot where you want a gate. Press the button and the gate stays there in the air. When the track is done the simulator hands you a link. Your friend opens it and flies your course with the same lap timer. No account, nothing to download, and it works on a phone the same way it works on a computer.

How it works

Three steps, nothing to set up.

STEP 1

Press MY TRACK

The button sits in the top row next to the track names. On a phone that row opens with the gear icon at the bottom of the screen.

STEP 2

Fly and drop gates

In the builder the quad hovers when you let go of the sticks and it cannot hit anything. Fly to the spot, press GATE, and the gate stays there.

STEP 3

Send it to a friend

Done shows how many gates you ended up with. Send to a friend puts the link on the clipboard: drop it in a chat and it opens straight into the track.

Controls in the builder

This is not drone flying, it is free movement: up, down, forward, back, sideways and turn. You cannot crash in the builder.

What else the builder does

Editing a finished track The builder takes a copy of whatever track is open. To change a single gate, fly up to it, press Remove this and drop a new one where you want it. Every other gate stays put.
Turning a gate Fly up to a gate the way you want to pass through it and press Turn. The gate lines up across your heading.
No gates inside walls If there is no way through at that spot, the simulator says so in plain words and refuses the gate. The track is always flyable.
The track lives in the link The whole track is encoded in the page address. No account, no server, no database: send the link and the other person flies.
Your tracks are at hand Tracks you make are listed on the map picker page, in this browser. From there you can open one or send it again.
Works on a phone The same two buttons and the same sticks. The installed app opens other people links even with no internet, as long as the map is already saved.

Common questions

Do I need an account?
No. No account, no email, no social login. The track is encoded into the link itself, so there is nothing to store on a server.
How many gates can I place?
Up to thirty. That is plenty for a long lap with loops: the built-in tracks use between eight and eleven.
Can I edit someone else track?
Yes. Open the link, press MY TRACK and the builder takes a copy. The original stays as it was for its author: you end up with two different links.
Where are my tracks kept?
In your browser storage on your own device, and the list opens on the map picker page. If you clear the browser, only the links you sent or saved somewhere survive.
The link opened but there is no track
That happens when the link got cut in transit or was made for another map: the simulator says exactly that at the bottom of the screen. Ask for the whole link in one piece.
Is it free?
Completely. fpv0 has no ads, no purchases and no subscriptions.
